A robot developed by the Institute for Robotics and Intelligent Systems at Konkuk University in Korea can be defeated in an ARM WRESTLING match by anyone with a good attitude and some perseverance, which the robot is designed to sense. The robot, called "Robo Arm-Wrestler", adjusts its strength for whoever the challenger is, then gauges how tenacious he or she is, winning or losing accordingly. The robot was unveiled at the Future Tech Korea 2005 festival.
